Other Information
Windchill collars are suitable for all
breeds and are designed especially for stronger dogs and working
breeds that can break normal collars. The Limited-slip collar
is specifically designed for arctic breeds but are ideal for any dog that slip out of normal collars.
Note: any collar needs to be
correctly adjusted to be firm on the neck to prevent the dog from
slipping out of it.
Being made from synthetic webbing the collars are comfortable, durable and easy to wash, and have minimal wear on the dog's coat.
Please note: Our collars do not have a buckle as any type of buckle will compromise the strength of the collar.
Product Information
The Limited-Slip Collar incorporates a short slip section (5-8 cm) which gives it a limited amount of slip or tightening action so that the collar will tighten a few inches when your dog pulls, but without choking the dog.
The Limited-Slip Collar is ideal as a
gentler replacement for the correction (choker) chain in obedience
training, for dogs that pull out of normal collars, for tethering,
harness work and for everyday wear.
These collars slip on over the head then are tightened until firm on the neck, so it is important that you choose a size that is big enough to fit over your dogs head. As they have a large amount of adjustment, it is better to order a larger size if you are not sure.
TIP: Correct adjustment of the
Limited-slip collar is critical.
If too loose, the collar will move on the neck and rub or break the
fur, and may slip off or allow the dog to chew it. The collar
should be firm but not tight on the neck - to determine the correct tightness you
should just be able to slip two fingers
underneath it.

The Standard Collar is similar to the limited-slip collar in construction but does not have the slip section. This collar is ideal for all breeds but particularly for strong dogs and are suitable for everyday wear.
These collars slip on over the head then are tightened until firm on the neck, so it is important that you choose a size that is big enough to slip on over your dogs head. As they have a large amount of adjustment, it is better to order a larger size if you are not sure.

PADDED SLIP COLLAR (non-adjustable)
Product Information
The Padded Slip Collar is similar to the limited-slip collar in construction but is padded with black neoprene and non-adjustable. Padding is also available in Polar Fleece in a range of colours upon request - please specify when ordering.
These collars slip on over the head and sit loosely on the neck, but will tighten a limited amount when the dog pulls.
This collar is best suited to short-coated breeds where the head and neck size are similar, such as Am Staffs, Bulldogs etc. so the collar will not be too loose on the neck. It is not recommended for arctic breeds or breeds where the head is considerably bigger than the neck.
Being non-adjustable, it is important that you choose a size that is big enough to slip on over your dogs head, without being too loose on the neck.
If the standard sizes do not suit your dog, we are happy to custom make a collar to your exact specifications.
Padding can be polar fleece (not recommended if the collar often gets wet), or neoprene.

The Full-Slip Collar is a basic collar with rings at both ends, ideal for quickly slipping on and off a dog.
These collars slip on over the head and sit loosely on the neck, but will tighten when the dog pulls.
Note: As this is a full-slip collar, it should never be used for unsupervised tethering or any situation where the dog will be unattended.
Being non-adjustable, it is important that you choose a size that is big enough to slip on over your dogs head, without being too loose on the neck.
If the standard sizes do not suit your dog, we are happy to custom make a collar to your exact specifications.

Our collars are made with industrial polyester webbing, double polyester stitching and come standard with nickel-plated metal rings & slides.
Brass or stainless steel rings are available as an optional extra for 1 inch webbing collars.
18 mm webbing collars come standard with nickel-plated rings and slide.
Collars are available
in 2 webbing widths:
- 25 mm (1 inch) - suits medium &
large dogs
- 18 mm (3/4 inch) - suits smaller
breeds and puppies.
The collars have a large amount of adjustment and adjust to sizes approximately two thirds the maximum size.

A lighter weight collar which is suitable for smaller breeds & puppies being strong but soft on the neck - excellent for smaller breeds, your puppy’s first collar, for lead training and for everyday wear.
Made from 3/4 inch synthetic webbing & polyester thread with a combination of nickel-plated metal and PVC fittings.
